Me too on fresh install, afterwards skype doesn't start because missing files. Installed previous version on top and no problems, skype works also. 8-)

Thanks Rick, but several issues still exist with the installer, starting from VCR 2005, "error installing assembly".
This error pops up several times.

2017 x64 does not show up in Add / Remove Programs
2013 x86,x64 does not show Minimum Runtime up in Add / Remove Programs
