Yes I know. It's not as good a package as Ricktendo. But I have taken a step further today and have been able to directly integrate the 6 new updates for the NET 4 x86. The installation is now much faster. I'm still working on the other 6 new updates for NET 2-3.5 to integrate directly and then create a new NET AIO for XP x86. But I still have a problem: The package is still big and I do not know how Ricktendo has created the self-extracting installer.

Rick, can you please tell us what 7-zip compression and switches you used to create your last AIO which was 63MB?
I extracted it and tried to compress it back, but I can't get it down to 63MB. I tried a lot of different switches and
the closest one was still 10MB larger. Thanks for any infos.

I just replace some dll-s with such from unpacked *.msp ("update" directory). I'm right ?
For test http://sendfile.su/1277193

To get 63Mb archive: 7z a arch -m0=lzma:31 -mx
7z x64 of course

I have new recreated my NET Framework AIO package for Windows XP x86:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/g5aagmaucewgar9/dotNetFx_AIO_x86_2016_10.7z

All new updates since Ricktendo's last package from January are now integrated into the NET folders.

NET 2.0: KB3123055, KB3127223, KB3135986, KB3142027, KB3163248
NET 3.0: KB3142046
NET 4.0: KB3122653, KB3127225, KB3135993, KB3142029, KB3163249, KB3189017

The package is again normal with 7Zip compressed and still somewhat large, but 40% smaller than my first package.
Just unpack and double-click install.

Tested with the POSReady registry entry via Microsoft Update.

NOTE: Visual C++ 2005 must be installed first.

Content is identical rasie1, but less size and has original installer from ricktendo

That 's interesting. I'm using a 32-bit OS and cannot get that size. Also, what does lzma:31 mean?

7za.exe 32-bit considers -m0=lzma:31 invalid.

It's a bigger dictionary size. Works on x64 only.
In our case, dict is 384Mb (lzma:29 enough)

From 7z help:
but 32-bit version of 7-Zip allows to specify up to 128 MB dictionary

31 is a degree of 2. Max dict for 32-bit is 128Mb = 2^27 i.e. in your case max valid switch is lzma:27, but archive size is a ...
